Vera's Weave Copper Bracelet

Some things you put on and immediately feel like your body remembered something. I made this piece for the people who are always moving - whose hands, wrists, and arms have been carrying the weight of a life well worked.

The three strands - brass, silver, copper - are twisted and set by hand, one section at a time, with tools I've had longer than most people have been alive.

Copper has been worn close to the body for a long time. Long before it was sold in stores or written about. The people who wore it kept wearing it, and they passed it along. 

I hope this bracelet finds a wrist that needs it.
